Ian is Head of Ticketing and Data Management with bigdog.
We got into a pretty deep conversation about all kinds of ticket related things including Groupon, customers paying different prices, building relationships with your buyers, surveys, and digital marketing.
Where I think the podcast got really interesting is when Ian made an observation about the way that UK companies and organizations sell compared to US companies.
Ian highlights the fact that we often lead with sales in the US and marketing is an afterthought, even me.
Which is pretty interesting since I am pretty much marketing first, or so I thought.
